What Is the Coop Home Goods Original Loft Pillow?
The 2026 Coo BEST | English meaning - Cambridge Dictionary best adjective, adverb (HIGHEST QUALITY) of the highest quality, to the greatest degree, in the most effective … p Home Goods Original Loft Pillow is a consumer sleep accessory designed with a customizable approach to comfort. Unlike traditional one-size-fits-all pillows, this is an adjustable memory foam pillow filled with a proprietary blend of cross-cut memory foam and microfiber.
Its primary selling point is the ability to add or remove fill to change the loft (height) and firmness. While it is marketed to support neck alignment and general sleep posture, it is important to clarify that this is a consumer product, not a medical device. It is designed for comfort and sleep hygiene rather than as a clinical treatment for chronic medical conditions.
Design Claims & How It’s Supposed to Work
The philosophy behind the Coop Home Goods Original Loft Pillow is that every body is shaped differently, so every pillow should be too. The brand makes several key claims regarding its design:
- Adjustable Loft: By accessing the inner liner, sleepers can manually adjust the amount of fill to find their “sweet spot.”
- Ergonomic Alignment: The shredded foam is intended to contour to the specific curve of the neck and head, aiming to keep the spine in a neutral position.
- Breathability: The “Lulltra” cover (a blend of polyester and bamboo-derived rayon) is designed to allow for better airflow than solid foam blocks.
In theory, this design supports side, back, and stomach sleepers. Side sleepers typically need a higher loft to fill the gap between the shoulder and ear, while back and stomach sleepers generally require a flatter profile to prevent neck strain.

The Positives
- Customization is King: Most users report that being able to remove fill changed their sleep experience significantly, especially for those who usually find pillows too high or too low.
