This device isn’t a handheld brush or a manual tool; it’s an integrated system designed to “scrub” the air and surfaces of your home automatically. In this review, we’ll dive into the ActivTek Air Scrubber Plus side effects 2026 report, how it works, and what real users are saying about its performance in a modern household.
What Is the ActivTek Air Scrubber Plus?
Unlike a portable air purifier that you plug into a wall outlet, the ActivTek Air Scrubber Plus is a professional-grade purification system installed directly into your home’s HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) ductwork.
Marketed as a “whole-home” cleaning solution, it doesn’t use brushes or water. Instead, it uses specialized light waves and a catalytic process to treat the air as it circulates through your house. It is often presented to consumers as a way to reduce the manual labor of cleaning by neutralizing contaminants before they even settle on you Oct 17, 2026 · 3873 Grand Ave - Electronics, Appliances & More - Best Buy At Best Buy Chino, we specialize in helping you find the best technology to enrich your life … r furniture or counters.
Marketing Claims: How It’s Supposed to Work
The manufacturer highlights several high-tech features that set it apart from standard air filters:
- ActivePure Technology: Derived from NASA-inspired tech, this is the “engine” of the device. It uses UV-C light and a catalytic cell to create “scrubbing molecules.”
- Surface & Air Cleaning: Unlike passive filters that only trap what floats into them, this system is claimed to send out ions that “attack” contaminants on doorknobs, counters, and floors.
