Is the Amazon Homitt electric spin scrubber worth it? The consensus among 2026 users is generally positive, provided expectations are managed.
The Positive:
Many users, particularly seniors and those with back pain, report that the extension handle is a “game changer.” It allows for cleaning a bathtub or shower floor while standing up. Others note that for regular maintenance—cleaning a shower once a week—the scrubber is highly effective at preventing the buildup of pink mold and soap scum.
The Cautionary:
On forums like Reddit and in Amazon’s own comment sections, some users express frustration that the device “just moves the dirt around” if you don’t use the right cleaning solution. Real-world feedback emphasizes that the scrubber is a mechanical aid, not a chemical one. You still need an effective cleaning spray to break down the grime before the brush can whisk it away.
