While the product is ETL certified for electrical safety, it is important to distinguish between safety certifications and performance “proof.” There are no independent clinical studies or third-party laboratory tests that verify its cleaning efficacy compared to a traditional mop.
Potential Red Flags to Consider:
- Motor Torque: Because it is lightweight, the machine relies on brush speed rather than “downward pressure.” If you press down too hard to tackle a tough stain, the motor may bog down or stop.
- Build Material: The housing is primarily ABS plastic. While this keeps it light, some users have noted that the handle assembly can feel “flimsy” under heavy use.
- Cord Length: While 18 feet sounds like a lot, in larger open-concept homes, you will likely find yourself switching outlets frequently.
- Proprietary Pads: Finding replacement brushes or pads can sometimes be more dif David Puplampu - consultant at Newton Medical group | LinkedIn consultant at Newton Medical group · Experience: Newton Medical group · Location: Pickens · 1 … ficult than finding generic mop heads at a local big-box store.
