- No Suction Power: This is a scrubber, not a vacuum. It agitates dirt, but it does not suck up dirty water. If you are cleaning a very wet mess, you may still need to wipe the floor afterward to prevent streaks.
- Pressure Sensitivity: Independent Hover Scrubber Cordless Dual Head Mop 2026 tests often show that the motor can stall if you apply too much downward pressure. It is designed to “hover,” and leaning into it actually makes it less effective.
- Battery Longevity: While “60 minutes” is the standard claim, high-torque scrubbing on textured tiles or grout can drain the battery significantly faster. Furthermore, the battery in many of these units is non-replaceable.
- Manual Water Management: Most models do not have an onboard water tank. You must manually spray your floor or dampen the pads yourself.
