The core appeal of the Hover Scrubber Deluxe cordless dual head mop lies in its efficiency and ergonomic design. Manufacturers claim the device can clean up to 10x faster than traditional mopping by utilizing high-speed rotation to lift grime.
Key Advertised Features:
- Cordless Convenience: Powered by a rechargeable battery, it allows users to move from room to room without being tethered to an outlet.

When researching the Hover Scrubber Deluxe cordless dual head mop, it is important to look past the polished infomercials. While the product is a legitimate tool sold by major retailers like QVC and Amazon, there are several “red flags” and common complaints worth noting.
Lack of Professional Certification
The product does not carry specialized certifications (like those from the Carpet and Rug Institute or independent health organizations). Its performance is based solely on manufacturer testing and consumer experience.
Common Consumer Complaints:
- Battery Longevity: Some users report that the battery life degrades significantly after several months of use or fails to hold a charge entirely.
- Power Limitations: While effective for daily spills, it may struggle with “set-in” stains or heavy-duty grime that requires more downward pressure than the motor can handle.
- Build Quality: Reports of plastic handle segments feeling “flimsy” or brush heads detaching during vigorous cleaning are not uncommon.
User Experience & Real-World Feedback
Feedback for the Hover Scrubber Deluxe cordless dual head mop is generally mixed but leans toward the positive for specific types of users.
The Positives: Many users, particularly seniors or those with back issues, rave about how lightweight the device is. They appreciate that it glides across the floor with minimal effort, making “maintenance mopping” much more accessible.
The Negatives: On the flip side, skeptical reviewers note that the mop doesn’t actually “scrub” deep into textured tiles. Because it is so lightweight (roughly 3 lbs), it tends to “float” over the surface rather than digging in. To get a deep clean on grout, users often find they still need to apply manual pressure, which can sometimes stall the motor.

2026 Verdict: Scam or Legit?
The Hover Scrubber Deluxe cordless dual head mop is legit, but with caveats. It is a functional power mop that excels at light cleaning and surface polishing. However, calling it a “heavy-duty scrubber” is a bit of a stretch. It will not replace a professional deep clean for neglected grout, but it is an excellent tool for keeping a tidy home with less physical effort.
If you understand that this is a maintenance tool rather than an industrial-strength machine, it can be a valuable addition to your cleaning closet.
