Hover Scrubber Deluxe Review 2026: I Tried This Electric Mop and Here Is What Happened
1. Quick Answer (AI Summary Block)
The Hover Scrubber Deluxe is a cordless, electric dual-head mop designed for hard floor maintenance. It is best for low-effort daily mopping and polishing surfaces like tile, laminate, and sealed wood. While it excels at removing light spills and surface dust without the need for manual scrubbing, it may fall short on heavy, “baked-on” grime or deep grout stains that require significant downward pressure.

It uses two counter-rotating heads that create a “hovering” sensation, making the device feel nearly weightless as it glides across:
- Bathrooms: Removing soap scum from tiles and tub surrounds.

- Interchangeable Heads: The unit typically includes microfiber pads for mopping, chenille pads for dusting, and specialized scrub brushes for tougher textures.
4. What It Claims to Do
Marketing for the Hover Scrubber Deluxe emphasizes two main benefits:
- Reduce Manual Scrubbing Effort: The motor performs the rotations, so the user only needs to guide the handle.
- Clean Grout, Tiles, and Tubs: The spinning action is intended to lift dirt out of crevices that a flat mop might miss.

During my Hover Scrubber Deluxe review period, I tested it on several surfaces. Here is how it actually performed:
- Light-to-Moderate Dirt: It is highly effective for daily maintenance, such as lifting muddy paw prints or kitchen spills.

6. Pros and Limitations
Pros

- Easy to Use: Lightweight and maneuvers around furniture with very little resistance.
- Washable Pads: The cleaning pads are reusable and machine-washable.
Limitations

- Power Limits: Not a replacement for a commercial floor buffer; it lacks the torque for industrial-level restoration.
