Real-World Performance: Before and After Results
During our 2026 real-world testing, the results were consistent with a high-quality “maintenance” machine rather than a heavy “restoration” tool.
- Light-to-Moderate Dirt: Excellent. It removed daily foot traffic marks and surface spills in a single pass.
- Heavy Buildup: In our “Before and After” test on neglected kitchen grease, the machine required “double scrubbing” (running the brush without the vacuum on to let the chemicals dwell) to achieve a clean surface.
- Brush Dependency: Performance varies significantly based on the brush. A standard poly brush is great for general tile, but a grit brush was necessary for textured stone.

The Viper 15 is effective on grout if used with a nylon brush. However, for extremely recessed or stained grout, a specialized steam cleaner or high-pressure tool may still be required.
How long does the battery last?
The battery version of the Viper 15 typically offers a runtime of about 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the floor friction and battery age.
